Christmas Open House Promises Free Family Fun
Event features hay rides, bounce house, games and Santa on Dec. 20th
(The First United Methodist Church will host a special Christmas Open House on Sunday, December 20th from 3:45 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on the church grounds at 825 Forrest Avenue in Cocoa. The free family event will focus on activities for the children, with hay rides, a bounce house and big slide, as well as hot dogs and refreshments. Santa Claus will be stopping by with candy for the children. Prior to the start of the Christmas Open House, the church Hand Bell Choirs will present their annual Christmas Ring concert at 2 pm. Don McCarter, Special Events Chairperson, is enthusiastic about the Christmas Open House.
"It is going to be a very festive atmosphere here on the 20th --with caroling, Santa Claus, decorations and refreshments for the whole community to enjoy. It was important to us that we keep this a free event, so that everyone can join in the true spirit of Christmas."
