Backstage ARTS is a Brevard County Performing and Creative Arts studio that offers kids Playshops and classes in Dance, Musical Theatre, Drama, and Visual and Fine Art. Our pre-professional youth programs create arts enrichment opportunities and reinforce the role that the arts have in development and learning. Progams are taught by qualified and professional instructors, in a nurturing, learning environment.

The Backstage ARTS Playshop Program, for ages 3-12, offers fun-filled workshop sessions with exciting class themes, to introduce children to the arts. After-school, evening, and Saturday classes are currently available.

Registration is open online for the following Playshops:

Storybook Theatre (6-9 yrs.)
~Enjoy the excitement of acting, performing the plays of storybook tales.

Broadway Buddies (4-6 yrs.)
~Sing, Dance, and enjoy dramatic play with fun musical themes.

Dress-Up N' Dance (3-6 yrs.)
~Discover early dance skills, pre-ballet technique, creative movement, and dramatic play.

Jr. Musical Theatre (7-12 yrs.)
~Combine singing, dancing, and acting in a musical selection from a Broadway show.

Ballet Theatre (7-12 yrs.)
~Learn beginning ballet technique, choreography based on famous Ballets, and storytelling through dance.

ArtPLAY (3-12 yrs.)
~Explore creative play with Fine, Visual, and Mixed-Media art.

Backstage ARTS Company classes are part of a 32-week performance program open to youth ages 3-17, with year-round classes and performance opportunities. No audition required! New student registration begins online April 15, 2012., for the 2012-2013 season.
